ESPN's "Cheez-It MVCheez" Contest ("Contest") is open to all legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the time of entry who have Internet access and an active, personal Twitter account throughout the Contest Period. Go to twitter.com for instructions on how to sign up for a free account. This Contest is void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, all other U.S. territories and possessions, and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law. This Contest is sponsored by Kellogg Company ("Sponsor") and administered by Kaleidoscope Promotions Interactive, Ltd. ("Contest Administrator"). Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor, Contest Administrator, ESPN Enterprises, Inc. ("ESPN"), and their legal, promotion and advertising agencies, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, promotion partners and or any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, sponsorship or administration of the Contest, and their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, grandparent, in-law, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household (whether or not related), and each person or entity connected with the production or administration of the Contest, and each parent company, affiliate, subsidiary, agent and representative of any aforementioned entity are not eligible to enter. HOW TO ENTER
Contest entries may be submitted beginning on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET and must be completed no later than Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, according to Sponsor's electronic time stamp (the "Contest Period"). There are two ways to enter this Contest: (1.) create a photo illustrating why your college football gameday spirit should earn you the title of MVCheez, and, optionally, write a caption of 400 characters or less that explains or complements your photo; or (2.) create a video of fifteen (15) seconds or less illustrating why you should be named the MVCheez and, optionally, include your caption of 400 characters or less that explains or complements your video. When you are ready with either your photo or your video plus any caption, log in to your Twitter account (if you do not currently have an account, you may create one for free at Twitter.com), navigate to either the @ESPN or @ESPNCFB Twitter page at twitter.com/espn or twitter.com/espncfb and follow the selected account on Twitter, then Tweet your entry including the hashtag #MVCheezContest through your personal Twitter account, ensuring that your submitted photo or video meets the Submission Guidelines.

Your Tweeted photo, video, optional caption, and all other submitted information shall be referred to herein as your "Contest Submission." All Contest Submissions that are complete, meet the Submission Guidelines below, and otherwise meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules ("Qualified Submissions") will be judged in accordance with the judging criteria set forth below. LIMIT OF ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON/TWITTER ACCOUNT. Additional entries from the same person/Twitter account will be deemed ineligible.

NO CONTEST SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED OR RETURNED AND, IN FACT, MAY BE DESTROYED. ANY CONTEST SUBMISSION (OR ANY PORTION THEREOF) THAT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS DESCRIBED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES WILL BE DEEMED INELIGIBLE.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Photo or Video Content - Photo or Video must be thematically associated with college football, and demonstrate one's enthusiasm/passion for college football gameday and/or a given college football team. Note, if you depict any other person(s) in your Photo or Video, you certify that you have obtained their permission to enter it into the Contest.

Format - Photos submitted must be in a format that is compatible with Twitter (formats include jpg, png and gif, and files must be less than 5MB in size). Videos must be submitted in a format that is compatible with Twitter (formats include mp4 and mov), and may be no longer than 15 seconds in length.

Caption - Captions must be 400 characters or less, and either (a.) thematically complement the accompanying photo or video so that, taken together, the Photo/Video and caption illustrate your enthusiasm/passion for college football gameday and/or a given college football team or (b.) explain the idea behind the accompanying Photo or Video and how it relates to college football, in such a way that you demonstrate your enthusiasm and passion for college football gameday and/or a given college football team.

Prohibitions on Content - Your submitted Photo or Video must not depict any nudity, harmful or illegal activity or substances, or any obscene subject matter, as determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

If, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, your Contest Submission appears to infringe a third party's copyright or any other right, the Contest Submission will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, garbled, misdirected, or otherwise unintelligible or incompatible Contest Submissions. Your Contest Submission must be an original work of your authorship under U.S. Copyright Law. You may not be under any other contractual relationship that may prohibit you from participating fully in this Contest, or from allowing Sponsor to use royalty-free, the Contest Submission worldwide in all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the universe in perpetuity for any purpose. You agree to indemnify each of Sponsor, ESPN and the Contest Administrator against any and all claims of infringement from any third party for any use by Sponsor of the Contest Submission.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
At the end of the Contest Period, Qualified Submissions will be reviewed and scored by Sponsor according to the following criteria:
  • Creativity/Originality (50 points)
  • On Theme (35 points)
  • Quality of Photo/Video, including any Dialog/Writing (15 points)
A perfect score per judge is 100 points. In the event of a tie in point standings to determine the Winning Entry, the entries involved will be re-judged by an additional judge who will evaluate entries according to the same judging criteria and who will serve as the tie-breaker.

On or about November 22, 2021, from among all eligible entries received, the top six (6) entries will be selected based on having earned the highest scores from the judging panel ("the Finalist Pool"). Contest Administrator will endeavor to notify each member of the Finalist Pool via Twitter using the information associated with the submitted entry. If requested, each entrant in the Finalist Pool must provide Sponsor with signatures on all required paperwork and return all original signed documents in a timely manner as required pursuant to these Official Rules in order to be eligible to receive the Grand Prize. Such consent forms and general releases may include, without limitation: (a) a statement that the Contest Submission submitted is the exclusive property of the potential Grand Prize Winner and that permission has been obtained by any additional person(s) depicted in the Contest Submission, or their legal guardian(s) if any depicted person is a minor; (b) a tax acknowledgement form stating that the winner is aware of his/her obligation to handle any tax liability associated with acceptance of a prize; (c) a statement that the potential Grand Prize Winner releases, discharges and holds harmless Sponsor, Contest Administrator, ESPN, Twitter, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliated and related persons and entities, licensees, successors and assigns and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the "Contest Entities") from any and all losses, damages, claims, liabilities or expenses of any kind or nature, in connection with the Contest Submission and the use of such Contest Submission by Sponsor; (d) a statement that the potential Grand Prize Winner and his/her selected Travel Companion release, discharge and hold harmless the Contest Entities from any and all losses, damages, claims, liabilities or expenses of any kind or nature, in connection with acceptance of the Grand Prize; (e.) a consent to perform a Criminal Background Check on potential Grand Prize Winner and his/her selected Travel Companion prior to being awarded the Grand Prize including participation in the Cheez-It Bowl on-field event; and (f.) for each potential Grand Prize Winner and Travel Companion, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, with the final shot received before the end of the contest AND/OR agreement to provide a negative PCR test seventy-two (72) hours prior to travel, AND agreement to undergo any other COVID testing as requested by stadium or event officials prior to game attendance and/or participation in the Cheez-It Bowl on-field event. In the event of Sponsor's inability to contact a potential Winner, the potential Winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner may be selected instead. Should any potential Grand Prize Winner or potential Runner-Up Prize Winner be unwilling or otherwise unable to agree to the terms and conditions of these Official Rules or provide releases, or otherwise cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or if the potential Grand Prize Winner or Travel Companion's Criminal Background Check contains information deemed negative, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, the entry with the next highest score will be chosen from among the remaining entries until a Contest entrant whose Contest Submission meets all requirements can be selected. Once each potential Winner has met the requirements to successfully verify his/her eligibility to Sponsor's satisfaction, the entrant shall be an official winner and therefore eligible to receive a Prize.

PRIZES
One (1) Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to Orlando, Florida (the "Trip") from December 28-30, 2021, to attend the Cheez-It Bowl on December 29, 2021, including participation in the on-field ceremony inducting the Grand Prize winner into the Hall of Cheez. The Trip consists of roundtrip coach air transportation for two (2) on a carrier of Sponsor's choice from the major airport closest to winner's residence in the continental U.S. to Orlando, Florida; three (3) days / two (2) nights deluxe hotel accommodations (double occupancy; room rate and tax only); a $225 rental car allowance, and One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00 USD) spending cash for Winner only. Grand Prize winner will also receive one (1) varsity-style Hall of Cheez jacket, a one (1)-year supply of Cheez-It crackers and one (1) Cheez-It swag pack, including one (1) hoodie, one (1) apron, one (1) beanie and one(1) fleece blanket. Approximate Retail Value ["ARV"] of the Grand Prize is Four Thousand Five Hundred Sixteen ++ Dollars and Forty Cents ($4,516.40 USD). Five (5) Runner-Up Prizes: A one (1)-year supply of Cheez-It crackers and one (1) Cheez-It swag pack, including one (1) hoodie, one (1) apron, one (1) beanie and one(1) fleece blanket. The ARV of each First Prize is One Hundred Sixty-Six Dollars and Forty Cents ($166.40 USD).

GRAND PRIZE WINNER MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL DECEMBER 28-30, 2021. Actual value of the Grand Prize may depend on location of the Grand Prize Winner, fares at the time of travel, and the value of services rendered. Therefore, the value of the Grand Prize awarded may be lower or higher at the time it is fulfilled. Any difference between actual value and ARV will not be awarded. Specific dates and times for travel shall be designated exclusively by the Sponsor. Any costs associated with Grand Prize receipt and/or use that are not expressly stated above are not included in the Grand Prize package and are the responsibility solely of the Grand Prize Winner and Travel Companion. Such costs may include, without limitation, any additional ground transportation, meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls or other personal costs and expenses not specified herein but relating to use or acceptance of the Grand Prize package which are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winner must arrange travel with Sponsor's agent in a timely manner. Travel is subject to availability and blackout periods. Additional restrictions may apply. Grand Prize Winner and Travel Companion will be required to travel on the identical itinerary. Grand Prize Winner and Travel Companion are responsible for obtaining identification documents and/or other travel documents required for the trip. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, vouchers, certificates, prizes or prize components once they are in Winner's possession. No transfer, or cash or other substitution of any prize allowed except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component of comparable or greater value. The ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the aggregate is Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars and Forty Cents ($5,348.40 USD).

CONDITIONS
If any potential Grand Prize Winner is not able to take the Trip on the Sponsor-designated dates of December 28-30, 2021, then the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected. No compensation will be made in the event that the Cheez-It Bowl and/or the on-field induction to the Hall of Cheez ceremony do not occur, or do not occur within a certain time period, due to circumstances beyond Sponsor's control. Grand Prize Winner's selected Travel Companion must be 18 years or older. Contest is subject to these Official Rules. By participating, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest and/or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law. By accepting a Prize, each Winner agrees to release each of Sponsor, Contest Administrator and ESPN, including their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated entities together with their respective directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors and agents, and respective advertising and promotion entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Contest (collectively, the "Releasees") from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Contest, in Sponsor's sole discretion, should Sponsor receive fewer than ten (10) Qualified Submissions or due to circumstances beyond Sponsor's control, including natural disasters. Sponsor may, in Sponsor's sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest, or by any force majeure, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, equipment failure, including overloading of a website due to excessive uploads, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other similar or dissimilar cause beyond Sponsor's sole and reasonable control. Contest Submissions will not be returned and may be destroyed. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a Prize if, in Sponsor's sole discretion, Sponsor determines such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, including ballot-stuffing, deception, or any other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, undermine or harass any other entrants, users or Sponsor's representatives. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK CIVIL AND/OR CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AND/OR DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By entering the Contest, each entrant hereby agrees to submit generally and unconditionally to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of a court of competent jurisdiction located in New York, NY.

Sponsor has no obligation to notify any entrant of receipt of the Contest Submission or whether the Contest Submission will be used in any Sponsor-related properties or by ESPN, including, without limitation, possible broadcast in any medium now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity for any and all purposes in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. No entrant or entity shall be entitled to any compensation of any kind or nature whatsoever in connection with any Contest Submission or the use of such Contest Submission by Sponsor or ESPN. By sending a Contest Submission to Sponsor, you represent, warrant and agree that: (i) Contest Submission will not be returned to you and will become the property of Sponsor and ESPN; (ii) Contest Submission is solely the original work of you who is assigning all rights in the Contest Submission to Sponsor and ESPN; (iii) neither the Contest Submission nor any part thereof nor the exercise by Sponsor or ESPN of any rights therein will violate or infringe upon the trademark, trade name, copyright, right of privacy or publicity, property rights or any other rights of any person or entity; (iv) no third party has or will have any rights in or to the Contest Submission; and (v) all of your respective rights, title and interests in and to the Contest Submission is transferred and conveyed to Sponsor and ESPN to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, so that Sponsor and ESPN will be the sole owners of all copyrights and other rights therein. Nothing in these Submission Guidelines shall require Sponsor or ESPN to use the Contest Submission in part or in whole or to include the Contest Submission in any Sponsor or ESPN-related property. Nothing in these Submission Guidelines shall prevent, restrict or otherwise impair Sponsor or ESPN from using the Contest Submission or portions thereof at any time in the future. Sponsor and ESPN shall have full right and power to edit, alter, crop, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions or elements of the Contest Submission in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion.

By submitting a Contest Submission to Sponsor and ESPN, you agree to be bound by all Submission Guidelines and, on your own behalf and on behalf of any other person(s) depicted in your Contest Submission, grant to Sponsor and ESPN the right to use in perpetuity your name(s), likeness(es), persona(e), photograph(s), video(s), biographical and other information, and the Contest Submission, without notice and without compensation or obligation, in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world, by any and all manners and methods, and for any and all purposes or programs, now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to broadcast television, non-broadcast television, pay, cable and network television, satellite and closed-circuit transmission, in-flight video, home entertainment (including home video, DVD, in current and future formats, and online services), wireless, podcasting, Internet, linear, digital and interactive formats, and printed transcripts, and to advertise and promote Sponsor and/or ESPN, their advertisers or promotional partners, their respective products and services, the Contest, and for any other purpose in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Your Contest Submission may be used and discussed on web pages owned by Sponsor and/or ESPN, via social media accounts of Sponsor or ESPN, or in connection with other programs or projects in all media, even if you are not selected as the winner of the Contest. Sponsor and ESPN are under no obligation to use or display your Contest Submission.

PUBLICITY
Sponsor and ESPN reserve the right to use the Contest Submission for publicity purposes prior to, during, or after the Contest end date, in any media, and to use the names, likenesses, and/or hometown names, of any Contest entrants and/or participants, including all or part of their Contest Submission throughout the world, in perpetuity, without any compensation or prior review unless specifically prohibited by law.
