Match Commentary
Joel Hodgson misses the drop at goal from point-blank range. He was too close to the pass which gave him less time to compose himself and get the ball up and over.
It misses to the left and Leicester win by just a point in a dramatic game of rugby.
They're just a point behind. The last few minutes they've been huffing and puffing with possession and territory trying to get close enough to set up a drop goal chance.
The Tigers have gone through the phases but Ellis Genge losing the ball with the line in sight when trying a one-handed Hollywood off-load. Newcastle clear their lines.
Newcastle wingers Goneva and Sinoti can be dangerous runners but have barely been in the game.
The Tigers improved as the 40 minutes went on, can they continue that to secure victory? Stay with us to find out.
A lovely break kick through from Delany finds centre Waldouck on his first start. He appeared to have scored but it was infact a double movement. Superb work from Peter Betham to stop him scoring.
Joe Welsh vs Ellis Genge - an experienced Scottish prop against a promising young English one.
Will Welch vs Brendon O'Connor - to very underated openside flankers.
Simon Hammersley vs Matthew Tait - two reliable full-backs, Tait returning to his former club.
