The Stormers recorded their second consecutive victory of the Super Rugby campaign with a 32-25 victory over Jaguares.
The Argentinean side opened up their season with a 39-26 win over the Southern Kings and were well in the game going into the final quarter before Matias Moroni and Pablo Matera were both sin-binned.
Despite having 13 men, they got back to within two points with 12 minutes remaining before Stormers' full-back SP Marais got the crucial score four minutes later.
Nicolas Sanchez and Jean-Luc du Plessis traded early penatlies before Pumas captain Agustin Creevy crossed for the visitors.
After that the Stormers looked to take control with tries from EW Viljoen and Jano Vermaak giving them a 17-8 lead before the half hour, Sanchez narrowed the margin for Jaguares to 17-11 at the break.
Jean-Luc du Plessis restored their nine-point gap with a penalty after the restart but Santiago Cordero hit back for Jaguares. Sanchez put two between the teams, 20-18, with the conversion.
In an attempt to prevent a Stormers try Moroni saw yellow with the referee awarding a penalty try. Matera followed him shortly after.
Even with a two-man disadvantage, Cordero crossed for his second try of the game but it was as good as it got with Marais crossing to seal the win.
